This year’s Professional Update involves a Birthday of Sorts….  And a Gift To Go With It.

Twenty years ago, Marshall Parker & Weber (known then as Marshall & Associates) invited area professionals working with seniors to come together for a few hours and discuss ideas and new ways to serve their clients. It was a good way to share and learn as well as giving the participants an opportunity to get to know each other a little better. Everyone felt it was worthwhile, so we did it again, and again.

We are excited to be hosting the 20th Annual Professional Update this year. On May 11 and 12, in Williamsport and Wilkes-Barre, our firm will be hosting this valuable educational and networking event, with topics ranging from mental health issues in the elderly and multi-generational planning to the options for families with special needs and a review of the legal developments in elder law this year.

We are very proud of the Update and felt like a celebration of 20 years was in order.  So we decided to do something special! We are going to donate $1,000 to an area non-profit that serves seniors. Anyone registering to attend the Update will have the opportunity to nominate an organization. Voting will be done as attendees sign in, and we will announce the winner on May 13.
