Lindsay Collins recently joined the Marshall, Parker & Weber team and works as an Estate Administration Case Manager in our Williamsport office. When someone passes away, Lindsay assists our attorneys in guiding our clients throughout the entire estate process. She ensures that critical deadlines are met, addresses the issues and problems that arise and works with the attorney to implement the best solutions. Lindsay is thankful that she is able to work in a field where she can help others in her community during a time that can be confusing and distressing.

Lindsay grew up in South Williamsport with two younger brothers. A music enthusiast since childhood, Lindsay earned her Associate of Applied Arts degree at the Pennsylvania College of Technology, focusing on Broadcast Communications. There, she was able to apply her interest in music programming and served as the music director of the local college radio station WPTC-FM. Upon graduation, she worked as a disc jockey and board operator at several local radio stations over the course of twelve years. She lost track of the number of concerts she has attended and states that the number is “too many.” In 2014, she finally visited the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum in Cleveland, Ohio. Naturally, she was drawn to the Hall of Fame inductee film montage and the elaborate costumes worn by the musicians, but surprisingly the Elvis Presley exhibit ended up being her favorite part of the museum.

Lindsay previously held various management positions and also worked locally as a job coach at Hope Enterprises. She received the President’s Volunteer Service Award in 2012, after volunteering with a number of organizations including the American Cancer Society and HabitatLindsay (3) for Humanity.

Lindsay returned to school part-time and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Assistant-Paralegal Studies from the Pennsylvania College of Technology, graduating in 2014. While attending school, she was inducted into the Lambda Epsilon Chi (LEX) National Honor Society and was grateful to have received the Maxine Stiffler/Lycoming County Paralegal Association Annual Scholarship award in 2013. Her favorite courses in school were Forensics and Estate & Trust Administration. Following an internship, Lindsay worked as an Estate Administration paralegal at a local law firm.

Lindsay continues to volunteer twice a year at the Pennsylvania College of Technology’s opLindsay and Shane cropen house, where she gives future paralegal students a realistic perspective of the Legal Studies major and a peak into her experiences working at law firms.

In her free time, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her husband Shane, traveling, being active outdoors, swimming, listening to good music, and hitting the treadmill. Lindsay and Shane recently celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary. The couple has yet to decide where they will commemorate their fifth anniversary next year, but it will no doubt include lots of sun, a beach, plenty of walking and bicycling, and good Mexican food. Suggestions are welcome!
