After a short conversation with Heather, anyone can tell that she is a social worker at heart. Heather primarily works with clients in our Estate and Long-Term Care Planning Department in our Williamsport and Jersey Shore offices. Before joining Marshall, Parker & Weber, Heather was a Care Manager and Assessor for the Union-Snyder Area Agency on Aging. When she began at the Area Agency on Aging, Heather was responsible for managing clients who were receiving in-home care from the Pennsylvania Department of Aging’s Waiver Program. She then became an Assessor where she would meet with clients (often in their homes) to make an initial assessment about their care needs and determine their eligibility for the programs available. Heather’s role as a Case Manager at Marshall, Parker & Weber has felt like a natural progression for her. She enjoys meeting with our clients and has a true understanding of their needs and what long-term care options can protect their dignity as they become older.
Heather was born and raised in Wellsboro and currently resides in Williamsport. She has an Associates Degree from the New Tribes Bible Institute in Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Anthropology from Mansfield University. In her spare time, Heather enjoys the outdoors, playing sports and spending time with her family and friends.
“When we had our first appointment, everyone was very nice. We were put at ease with our phone messages with Heather. All of our questions were answered. We were advised to go to Marshall, Parker through our son whose in-laws used Marshall, Parker. At the last signing, our four children decided to all show up. After the signing, we all enjoyed a meal at Red Lobster. Peace of mind – priceless!” – Mr. and Mrs. K.
