Attorney Casey A. Sauerwine grew up in Mountaintop, Pennsylvania where she attended Crestwood High School. After graduating high school she went on to Pennsylvania State University at University Park where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, while acquiring two minors in History and Mass Media Communications.
Attorney Sauerwine received her law degree from Barry University School of law in Orlando, FL. She earned an Honors Degree in Earth and Environmental Law, also from Barry University. After graduating from law school Attorney Sauerwine moved back to Mountaintop, Pennsylvania and became a licensed attorney in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Before joining Marshall, Parker and Weber, Attorney Sauerwine worked at a law firm in the Stroudsburg area focusing on Family law, Adoption, Guardianships as well as Wills, Trusts and Estates. Attorney Sauerwine found her interest grow for elder law, estates, trusts and planning. Attorney Sauerwine wanted to come to a law firm that focused strictly on helping the elder population and their families in Northeastern Pennsylvania where she grew up.
She is a member of both the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bar Associations, as well as the Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association and the Luzerne County Young Lawyers Division. Attorney Sauerwine is very involved in her community, she is currently the majority inspector of elections for Dorrance Township as well as a member of the Luzerne County Youth Aid Panel at Crestwood High School.
Attorney Sauerwine currently resides in Dorrance Township with her Long Haired Weimaraner, Wrigley. In her free time Attorney Sauerwine and her fiancé, enjoy taking Wrigley on hikes, going to the beach, snowboarding and watching Penn State football.
