Attorney
Jeffrey A. Marshall, CELA, was recently elected to serve a three-year term on the Board
of Directors of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. He
took office at PBI's Annual Meeting held in conjunction with the
Annual Meeting of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Mr.
Marshall is managing attorney of the Law Firm of Marshall, Parker
& Associates where he concentrates his practice in elder law,
including estate planning and estate administration.
He is certified as an elder law attorney (CELA) by the National
Elder Law Foundation, is past chair of the Pennsylvania Bar
Association's Elder Law Committee and currently serves on the Elder
Law Section Council. A
native of Lock Haven,
Pennsylvania
, Mr. Marshall received his B.A. from
Wesleyan
University
in 1967 and his J.D. from
Stanford
University
in 1972, where he was an editor of the Stanford
Law Review. He is the
author of Elder Law in
Pennsylvania, published by PBI Press, and a contributing author of
PBI's Estate Planning in
Pennsylvania. A
recognized authority on elder law, Mr. Marshall is frequently quoted
by national media including The Wall Street Journal, Time
Magazine,
The Chicago Tribune, and The Kiplinger Retirement Report.
PBI,
